In this modern era, it is very common to see that the boyfriend or partner is younger than the woman beside him. As long as the age gap is not more than three years old, the parents and friends of the women can normally accept such relationship. Even though relationship is said to be something between the couple, most of the people still mind about society’s perception if the type of relationship is within the minority group. Before you make your decision to be with a younger boyfriend, you probably want to go through the following pros and cons to assist you in making up your final decision.
The two Pros are follows:-
1) He keeps you young spiritually.
Undeniably speaking, when your boyfriend is a few years younger than you, you want to try your best to match him. In order to match up with him, you would dress up young, act young and look young. Especially when you hang out with his friends who are at his age, you do not want his friends to look at you differently and hence, you make all efforts to mix with them. Due to you keeping your heart young, your mindset would automatically become younger too.
2) Less possessive.
Compare to boyfriends who are elder than you, younger boyfriends tend to control the girlfriends lesser. It could be due to them dislike being controlled by girlfriends, they then do not control your daily lives that much. It is good for women who dislike reporting their daily lives to the boyfriends or partners.
The two Cons are as follows:-
1) Less mature than you.
If your boyfriend is a few years younger than you, you better expect him to be more childish than other men at your age. His thinking might not be as mature as yours or probably very childish. When you want to settle down, set up a family with him, he might want to skip or ignore that topic and ask you to just enjoy the fun time with him now.
2) Less caring and considerate.
Due to his younger age, you are more like a bigger sister to him. He loves you probably because you can take good care of him. To the contrary, he would be less caring and/or considerate with you. Of course, there will be exceptions where younger men can be mature too.
